Mario C. Sam is a Baltimore-based graphic designer focusing on print, brand and advertising design. He has vast experience in hierarchical typographical layouts, color theory and visual graphic elements. With over fifteen years of professional graphic design experience, Mario provides work that isn’t only visually pleasing but also successfully communicates the client’s message in a strong and targeted manner. In addition to print design, Mario also offers creative consulting services. Creative consulting helps clients develop strong visual taste and ease challenging creative decision-making.

Mario has worked with a varied selection of clients including but not limited to Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, Parks & People Foundation, Baltimore LOVE Project, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO), World Relief.org, Maryland Food Bank, Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts, Section-1 Creative, Transamerica Agency Group, Monumental Life Insurance Company, Progressive Insurance and many more. 

Mario is currently part of Towson University’s internal design group. In this role, he creates advertising design work for the university’s vast dining locations, athletic programs, academic groups and departments, special university projects and initiatives by utilizing the university's design brand standards. In addition, Mario is an adjunct professor in the Mass Communication department teaching Mass Media Graphics. 

Mario C. Sam earned a BFA degree from The Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA degree from Towson University. Apart from graphic design and creative consulting, Mario is also an editorial illustrator and multidisciplinary fine artist working on a varied range of mediums and substrates.
